Our team recently stepped away from the office for a volunteer day at Foothills Animal Shelter. We spent the day on a hands-on project and got to know some of the shelter’s four-legged residents.
Building a Better Outdoor Space for Shelter Dogs
We helped build a privacy wall for the shelter’s dog play areas, creating a more comfortable place for dogs to spend time outdoors. It was a rewarding way to work together as a team while supporting an organization that does so much for animals in our community.
The highlight of the day came after the project, when we spent time cuddling and playing with two senior dogs, Bear and Meatball. Getting to know them was a reminder that senior dogs are just as deserving of love, attention, and a family of their own.
Could One of Them Be Your Next Companion?
When we visited, Bear and Meatball were both available for adoption. If you’re thinking about welcoming a pet into your family, contact Foothills Animal Shelter to see which animals are currently available and to learn about the adoption process. Bear and Meatball are ready for a loving home, and they deserve one.
Supporting our community goes well beyond the work we do for our clients. We’re grateful for opportunities to give back alongside local organizations that make a real difference, and we thank Foothills Animal Shelter for welcoming our team and for the care, compassion, and dedication you bring to animals every day.
