The average settlement in a truck crash depends on a number of factors.
First and foremost, what happened? What sorts of injuries did our clients suffer from? A broken neck or a broken bone is worth a much different sum of money than, you know, a headache that resolves after several weeks. So the injuries that a client suffers is the single most important thing that we need to know to determine what a truck crash settlement should be.
The second thing we look at is what caused that harm to begin with? Were there multiple actors involved? Was it a single actor involved? And whether those actors have the insurance or the funds to pay out the damages that they’ve caused.
All of those things need to be considered any time we’re trying to find out what a settlement for a truck crash should be, and that’s why it’s important to talk with an attorney who’s experienced in truck crashes to determine what your case might be worth.
