What Led Your Firm to Specialize Exclusively in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Cases?

I made the decision to focus solely on personal injury work and medical malpractice work back around 2016, when I had an opportunity to represent a young lady who was permanently and severely injured and would be for the rest of her life.

I was invited to help on the case, and I did. I took that invitation, and it was the first time in my career where I truly felt I was making a difference in someone’s life. Whether we were successful or not would have determined whether that young lady lived the rest of her life in an institution, or was able to stay at home with her parents who could care for her and love her and show her some kind of life beyond her injury. And it changed me.

It changed my outlook on the world, it changed my outlook on the practice of law, and I knew then that I had to make a change, and that’s when we made the pivot at Olson Personal Injury Lawyers to only doing personal injury work and malpractice work.
