How to Report a Nursing Home Facility to the Healthcare Department?

One way to help your loved ones get justice is to involve the State Department. By reporting a nursing home, or a facility to a state health department, whether it’s in Wyoming, Colorado or New Mexico, and each of these departments have websites that you can go to, and it’s pretty simple where you can click on file a complaint, or in Wyoming you have to send in a written complaint and you send a complaint to the health department identifying the nursing home, identifying your loved one, and identifying why you are concerned.

And most of the state departments, the state health departments will act upon that complaint and if they’re concerned, they will investigate that nursing home to see whether or not that they’re providing care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
